Traditional Korean given names are similar to Chinese given names in that they are usually composed of two Hanja (= Chinese characters, though the characters are pronunced differently in Korean). Some
modern parents however give names composed of pure Korean elements. My name is I Min-Young. My name can be both feminine and masculine.
Min: Means "clever, sharp" in Chinese 敏
Young: Means "brave" from Sino-Korean 英
